MacBook - install Snow Leopard from external DVD?

Hi,

I have a Core Duo BlackBook with a busted internal optical drive. If I buy an Apple external USB DVD Drive can I use it install Snow Leopard?

If you mean the Apple external Superdrive then no - it will only work with the MacBook Air.

Just buy any "normal" external USB dvd drive or maybe replace the drive in your MacBook ????
