MacBook Intel connecting to old TV

Heya, I realise that this question has been asked a lot, and ive searched around to try and solve my question, but I just want to confirm on here before I suck it up and split with cash....
So....

I have a MacBook that need to be connected via scart.

Currently I have a mini DVI to VGA adaptor (the small one from apple). Is it possible to:

OPTION 1: Just buy a VGA to scart and be done with that? If not...

Am I correct in thinking that the audio and video needs to be separate?

OPTION 2: I was thinking that Id need this mini DVI to video adaptor

(and this option 2 would do both my audio and video?)

So would either of those two options work for me??

You need for the Macbook with the Mini DVI:

Mini DVI to Video Adapter: Apple Store

And a Scart to 3.5mm Jack and Phono to connect to the Scart TV: Maplin

You'd be hard pressed to find any (new) laptop which can output straight into SCART.
