Heya, I realise that this question has been asked a lot, and ive searched around to try and solve my question, but I just want to confirm on here before I suck it up and split with cash....
So....

I have a MacBook that need to be connected via scart.

Currently I have a mini DVI to VGA adaptor (the small one from apple). Is it possible to:

OPTION 1: Just buy a VGA to scart and be done with that? If not...

Am I correct in thinking that the audio and video needs to be separate?

OPTION 2: I was thinking that Id need this mini DVI to video adaptor
http://store.apple.com/uk/product/M9319G/A?mco=MzE2OTkyOQ#overview

and then http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=2012&sku=27990 (S-video to composite cables)

into http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13372&doy=14m2&C=SO&U=strat15 (composite to scart)
(and this option 2 would do both my audio and video?)

So would either of those two options work for me??

Thanks in advance

You'd be hard pressed to find any (new) laptop which can output straight into SCART.
