HI there.

My MacBook will not hold a charge - it dies whenever the charger is taken out of it. Is there something I can do to it to fix this?

Please don't tell me I need to bring it back to the Apple Store, I was just there today. :(

Thank you.

Looking at it again, I think I may have put the power source as from power adapter. But I don't think it's changing.

Go to About this Mac under the Apple on the left of the MenuBar.
Then More info > Click on Power in the sidebar > Battery Information.

Plug the power adapter into the Mac > check the details and then remove the power and check again.
It will give you the status of your battery, whether it's charging or not, how many cycles it has done etc.

Come back with details.
