I'm running Leopard on a 2007 era MacBook.
For some reason, my iSight camera is not picking up any image. I open photobooth, and the screen is black, as if it's getting no signal. The camera light is on, but no image is recorded. If I try to take a picture, it attempts to, but no new photo is developed -- not even a black screen.
In iChat, if I start a videochat, my camera's light turns on, but there is no window for the image from my camera. The "picture in picture" effect is not there, as if I have no camera at all. I get no errors in either photobooth or iChat.
I searched the threads, and it seems the common problem is an error message saying the camera is not recognized or not there, but I don't see anything related to mine. Could it be that some cable is loose or something?
Thanks.
