I've been waiting for a while to get either a MacBook or a MacBook Pro, but I'm leaning recently towards the MacBook. Obviously nobody knows what'll be introduced or upgraded come WWDC, but it's pretty much given that with this last update, the MacBooks are done for a while, right?

Yes they're done. No update for at least another 5-6 months. Otherwise, there are plenty threads to guide your decision.
Probably not MacBooks. Rumors imply MBPs and iMacs, which are both due for a bit of a case redesign, so that might be interesting
