Okay, I was just doing some things on PhotoBook and iPhoto - just testing it out, you know how it goes :p

Anyways, I took a few photos on PhotoBooth and put them on iPhoto and started the slidehsow. It went black as it usually does when starting a slideshow, but then all of a sudden I heard the CD drive go duuuur dur duuur. The MacBook restarted itself :(

Now, I am running it off the power, and it was on for roughly 2 weeks constantly. Had the MacBook for just over 2 months and everything was fine, it seems fine now 20 mins after the restart. The first thing that sprung to "Oh ****, I have the random shutdown issue!". But then I thought, "Hmm, it restarted, not shut down".

So, here is where I am at. I previously installed the Firmware update about the RSS. I have smcFanControl running and can see it all the time - it was ready around 50, so it wasn't the heat. Could it maybe just be the fact it was on a while?

Thanks,
virtual.
