MacBook keyboard, screen "protector" ?

I have a black MacBook. I am useing a microfiber cloth between the keyboard and screen when the computor is closed. I have had other laptops that have scratched screens fron the keyboard (not Macs). Is this necessary on the MacBook?

Not if you don't put too much pressure on the lid or type with greasy fingers But I just use one as well when I'm carying my MBP around; just to be sure my screen stays he way it is

Some peoples keys hit the screen and some dont.. Mine do not.
