I have just purchased a second hand 12" MacBook. 32 battery cycles, its pretty new..
I have noticed with the keyboard backlight on, what looks like dust that the light is showing up (behind the keys) could someone please verify if this is how these keyboards are brand new out of the box, or if it is infact something i.e. dust behind the keys. All keys work 100% fine, nothing unusual at all, can only see when the backlight is on

That's why I have asked the question, I am sure that when I looked at them at the Apple store they all seemed to look like this..

That is the solution, and this is normal. It is just more noticeable now b.c of the style of backlight used.
