I purchased an OWC 120GB Mercury Electra 6G SSD 2.5" Serial-ATA 7mm Solid State Drive and put it into my macbook. I boot off of a DVD that has a recovery partition on it and go to disk utility but it does not see the SSD. I have reset the Pram and the SMC. Any ideas before I return the drive?

Macbook Late 2007 does not recognize SSD

You sure it's not the SATA cable? Those tend to be a little fragile so I'd test it with another hard drive just to make the cable isn't at fault.
