Macbook (late 2007) fan or CPU (can't distinguish which one it is...)problem! Help!

I just got my macbook back from the Apple Store (The Power Board and the Top casing (keyboard, mouse) had to be replaced).

When I just turned it on, however, I hear this screeching sound, and when I install something, the fan goes berserk, and the screeching sound gets higher in pitch!

What should I do? This never happened before? Is it a hardware problem or is it the software, "Fan Control" from Lobotomo that I installed?

PLease help!

take it back, apple obviously messed up. If you're nice they might just give you a whole new machine.
