Macbook Late 2008 Batteryy Issue 10.8

Hi guys, im using a macbook late 2008 with a samsung ssd in it, on mountain lion and my battery seems to be in freefall..... I dont remember this being the case when i had a hybrid Hdd installed, anyone else having issues?

It might be a coincidence, since technically speaking the SSD should be using less power than the HDD. I'd check the battery cycle count in System Information->Power.

Did you change the drive at the same time you installed 10.8 or did the battery issue precede Mountain Lion?
