I am upgrading my wife's aluminum body late 2008 MacBook for the arrival of Mountain Lion. I've already added 8GB of RAM, but I ran into a problem in replacing the HDD. According to the Apple manual: "There are four (4) mountin?g screws on the side of your hard disk drive. If your replacement drive doesn't include these mounting screws, remove the ones from your old drive and mount them on the replacement drive before you install it."

My question is, what type of screwdriver is needed to remove these screws? It looks like a tiny Allen wrench, but I just wanted a bit more information before I was forced to wander over to the hardware store with the HDD in hand.

Dear Berone,

Thank you so much for your help. I found a store with one in stock just down the road, so I'll buy one tomorrow. With my comment about an Allen wrench, you can see that I needed all the help I could get! Thank you again!
