I bought my MacBook in December, just recently when trying to power up I get strange beep and it will not go on. I shut down by using the power button, wait a few moments, power it back up and it comes on. Any suggestions?

Well the saga continues. Took the MBP in to the Apple Store to get to looked at. Of course it started right up. Tech reset the RAM and ran diagnostics and he said everything is good to go. Came home and powered up again and it worked. Shut down for the night, turned it on a few minutes ago and same thing happened. 3-4 beeps. Powered on and off two times it finally came on.

Just can't figure it out. Anybody with suggestions.

Your only real options is to make another appointment and tell them that this issue is intermittent.

Just to let everyone know, brought it back to Genius Bar second time, they replaced the RAM this time. Hope that is the fix. If it happens again they will replace the Logic Board.
