Hi, my MacBook is coming to 4 years soon.. It's working fine, however recently the LCD backlight was spoilt. I tried a couple of solutions I found online such as turning on + shift as well as the PR restart.. It worked for a while but after that went out agn. Have tried agn but it doesn't work anymore. I can see that it's still functioning well, just no backlight. However I went to the shop and for assessment alone is USD50... I think it's just a minor problem since everything is working well.. I dont want to get a new MacBook cos I love this one Which is no longer available. So..is it a minor problem or should I send it to apple? Any solutions I can try? Thanks!!
