I have an old MacBook, white, maybe around 2006. And Ive replaced the RAM and HDD. It was working for a long time but then it just died. Ive tried to plug the hard drive into another computer to try and recover my files but no such luck. When I try to boot the computer in Verbose mode the boot stops at this:
Code:
dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/Versions/A/CoreFoundation
Referenced from: /bin/launchctl
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/Versions/A/CoreFoundation: start() failed with errno=5
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/Versions/A/CoreFoundation: start() failed with errno=5
com.apple.launchd 1   com.apple.launchctl.System 2   The System bootstrapper has crashed: Trace/BPT trap
I can't boot into the firmware because the f and r key on the keyboard are broken. I also can't boot from a disc cause the optical drive is broken. Does anyone have an idea on how I can retrive the data off the hard drive?
Thanks for your advice!
