I know how to set my macbook up so it works with a external monitor with the lid closed but is this possible in windows xp. Basically I want to hit restart in osx and boot windows without having to open the laptop at all. thanks

In Power Options in the Windows XP control panel there is a setting like "when I close the lid on my computer" - set that to: Do nothing.

Thanks. Will this allow windows to start up with the lid closed tho. sorry for all the questions.
