When I put my MB at my bag (laptop bag) it has the weight of all my books on top of it (not a lot of books, only 2 or maybe 3 and some other things like calculator, note pads, etc).
And I notice that that the lid gets like kind of stuck with the magnets, it's harder to open the lid.

Is this happening to all of you? Should I get worried by this?

Also, is there any other risk of having the weight of 2-3 books on top of my MB? Before the MB I had a Thinkpad (a big one), which resisted a lot.

Thanks,

Roco.:)

on my powerbook you eventually can see outlines of the keys where they touched the screen when i put it in my backpack with books.

but i think the keyboard on the macbook if fairly recessed, and the lid already closes as far as it can. so as far as keyboard marks on the screen i think you are good.

i figure as long as nothing is jabbing the screen or putting a great amount of force on a concetrated area, then you won't damage the screen that way either.

as far as the magnet thingy, i don't have a macbook so i don't know...

hope this helps.
