What macbook logicboards are compatible?
I have a 2.2 ghz that needs replacement, can I use a 2.0 or lower macbook logic board?
Can i use 2.2 ghz macbook pro motherboards?

-Thanks!!

Macbook Pro logic boards are out of the question.

What is the model number of your Macbook? If I am guessing right, your Macbook is a Santa Rosa model. That means you can use logic boards from this type only, I believe, since the previous and newer models are different processor types and I would be hesitant to try to mix logic boards between processor type.

Your best bet is to get it looked at by an dealer/repair shop and they can tell you exactly what your options are.

The 2.1/2.4 GHz MacBook (Penryn) motherboards will fit....

The 2.0 GHz Santa Rosa MacBook board will also fit....

That is your choices really - nothing else will fit.

So an SR 2.1/2.4 GHz MacBook and a 2.o GHz Santa Rosa MacBook board will fit where a 2.2 Ghz was?

Does anybody now a good place to buy from?

iFixIt is a reputable source. Ebay has good prices at a risk. Just buy from sellers with feedback in the thousands.
