I have a Macbook 13inch with 1.8ghz intel core 2 duo MA699LL/A with a bad logic board.

I have acess to a Logic Board 1.83 GHz, that is in a intel core duo machine is it possible to swap out? neither have Apple support. thanks for the info

Thanks for reply no it isn't a core 2 duo. I understand that it technically would not match what i am looking for s someone either has tried it or has enough experience to explain why it wouldn't work.

I have taken iMac G5 that's specked out at 2.0 ghz and installed a 1.6 ghz logic board and had no problems and has been operational for a good year.

I am looking for the guy who has put Frankenstien together and made him live!

Yes, it will work, the only snag will be the heat sink connectors (Apple used two different types). If the heat sink connectors are the same, you're good; If not, If you can get the heat sink with the working logic board, then yes it will work.
