Hi guys!

Right now i am the proud owner of an old (very old) Macbook Pro. It is before they made it with the unibody.

It has 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory.

Which of the following Macbook Air that apple has to offer would i have to pick to get one that was faster than mine? - If at all possible.

Cheers,

All of the current MBA's blow that away. I have the mid range 11" with i5, 4GB ram and 128GB flash storage. Its a beast!

Don't be fooled by the 1.6Ghz of the MBA. It is a mobile core so it flexes. Base power is 1.5GHz...but it can flex to I think 2.6 or 2.8. It is also hyper threaded.....so it is 4 threads instead of 2.

any current macbook air/pro will be faster than your machine. My MBA in my sig is much faster than even the Mac Mini even though the Mini is running 2.5GHz and 8GB of RAM. That Samsung SSD just screams.

Thank you! I was definitely fooled by the "low"GHz in the current Air line.

Now the question is just; should i await the Ivy Bridge coming out or purchase one now.

Would any of the current line be able to run photoshop smoothly?
