Macbook Making Strange Noise

So, sometimes my macbook makes that noise that a PC makes when it's warning you about something. I don't have windows installed on here, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
It's the white plastic one, I bought it in summer of 2011 so it's fairly new.

As in the high pitched beeping noise? Or the error noise, like when an error message pops up?
