Hello
I recently picked up a MacBook late 2007 2.2ghz on eBay for £190! Thought this wasn't bad as I have an iPad an iPhone and only really want a hub for music and photos! There is a few cracks on the casing do apple still repair this? I've read a few people on this that have got it done but don't know if they live in the uk!
Have I got a bargin on my hands?

They fixed my ex-gf's Feb-2008 Macbook just a few weeks ago. Somewhere up in Manchester. They were real nice about it too, it wasn't even a British unit. But apparently Apple has worldwide warranty. Not sure where it was though, haven't seen an Apple store anywhere in Manchester, but what do I know?

If they're in a good mood, maybe. But I think the warranty was four years.

EDIT: Any yeah, I'd say it was a damn good catch, mate.

Aww thanks hope they do would be great! Trying to build like a port folio of people saying about there experience in getting it fixed :)

Just letting you know I got mine fixed up today for nothing!! They are replacing the strip around the screen and the whole keyboard unit :) it will be like a new laptop! Picking it up in the morning
