Hey everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my memory to 4GB. Anyone have any suggestions where to buy and what to get. If you could provide links, that would be great. Thanks a lot.

first off, where abouts are you from, that way we can help you more.
secondly, what Macbook do you have?
thirdly, my advice is to try Crucial.com/uk and do the product details. that will tell you exactly what ram you need.

=)

i am from ohio, but right now (and for the next month) i am in texas (texas a&m university). i am here for some physics research and need a little more juice in my comp for the computations i am using.

right ok. crucial.com for you then along with the others suggested.

What speed is your Macbook? is it able to take all 4GB of ram or is the 2GB version?

wish mine was 4GB.. :(

i have the black macbook. i got it in january with 2gigs in it pre-installed. and yeah, it can hold up to 4...so thats definitely a plus

As long as you buy the right memory, there isn't much of a difference. Go with the one that's the cheapest that offers a lifetime warranty and a correct fit guarantee.

You can either shop around at newegg or just head over to Crucial and be done with it.
