So,when my mac was version 10.7, I downloaded the Obsidian Menu bar from http://www.maxrudberg.com/. this is menu customisation for the mac. When I updated my mac to 10.7.5, the menu bar got messed up. I tried to install it again but the dmg was only for version 1.7. I tried to restore it to default but the installer was only for version 1.7 . How do I fix this problem  ?

By having a backup of the image files for the menu bar prior to changing them:D
Or using pacifist to open up the OS install .dmg and replacing the menu bar elements. Re-installing the OS may not help as all the changed "obsidian" elements are usually named the same as Apple default so they are left alone. I would try anyway though.
Max has a "restore to the default menu bar prior to upgrading" warning on that very site.
Read through this thread. Usually someone has the same question as you and they upload the original elements.
