I have a mid 2009 macbook 1181 with a intel duo2 2 core 7450 CPU which is soldered in. I would like to upgrade to a intel Q6600 which is 4 core, which would also have to be soldered in. Both CPU were manufactured about the same time and the Q6600 is twice as fast but not that many were sold because it was a $532.00 option. Has anyone tried this upgrade?
