Macbook mid 2010 ram upgrade

Hi,

First of all sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question, but this is my first time here.

My Macbook from 2010 is in need of a RAM upgrade, I have currently 2*1GB of ram. My questions are as following:

How much RAM can my Macbook take? 2*2GB, 2*4GB or 2*8GB?

How much RAM do i need? I only use my computer for browsing, streaming netflix and the basic studyrelated programs like word, excel, evernote and such.

And is it correct when I found that these are the RAMblocks I can use for my upgrade:

2010 2.4GHz can take 2 x 8GB ram and that is the correct speed (PC8500) that you need but Crucial don't seem to sell them. You might get by with 4GB ram but better with at least 6GB.......
