Hello,

today my bag with macbook (middle 2007) fell down. When I tried to power it on, it didn't work. There was no startup chime, but power controller was lighting. There was nothing on a display, it only flashed for a second but then nothing.. Apple on the backside doesn't lights.

Then I connected it to an external display but it only said "no signal" or something else. I also tried to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 but it didn't help.

Thank you for everything that can help me. I really need to fix my Macbook.

Well... you have three options...

1. If there are no visible marks on the casing to indicate it's been dropped or bashed about, you could return it to an Apple Store and blatantly lie.

2. Return the machine to Apple explain what happened and pay for it's repair. Why cause Apple's warranty doesn't cover drops.

or.... Try to fix the thing yourself, assuming you're technically minded and it's not physically broken inside.

Personally, I'd check the machine for physical damage and consider returning it to Apple for some assistance.
