2 questions, actually. On this amazon page http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QW6QJG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it says the model number for this Mac is MB063B/B. I looked all over Apple's site, and I couldn't find a Mac with that number. I did, however, find this: http://support.apple.com/kb/sp18 and it matched everything on the amazon page: except the model #. This leads me to believe amazon has just made a mistake and the model number for the macbook is actually MB063LL/A.

So two questions: 1. Is the computer on the amazon page a MB063LL/A or a MB063B/B?

2. Is it possible for the computer to take more than 2 GB of RAM? I've heard of it reading 3.3GB tops but I'm not sure.

Thank! :apple:

That model supports 3.3 GB if you use two 2 GB 200-pin DDR2 SO-DIMM RAM modules.

As for the hiccup with the model numbers, there seems to be some conflicting info out there, but Everymac reports the same model number as Apple does, but this site uses the same number as the Amazon seller.

Max RAM for that model is 4GB, but it can only use 3GB of that. The model number is likely for another country (UK, I believe), but it's the same computer as the MB063LL/A.

Ah, okay. So I guess this http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=60EF875BA5CA7304 will work just fine?

Weird, I looked up the MB063LL/A on amazon and it showed something totally different. Like a 2.2Ghz or something. I think amazon has their serials screwed up.
