I recently purchased a new macbook and have had numerous problems connecting to other networks besides my own. My macbook works flawlessly when im in my home however, when i try and connect somewhere else it will not work. It sees the network but will just not connect to it.

do i have a setting wrong, or is something just faulty.

Please help me.

I've noticed issues connecting with wireless-N networks (I have yet to successfully connect to one...including the one in my home).

G networks have been fine.

I have tried with Netgear, Linksys and Apple Airport Extreme. All worked at home and at parent home. Have not tried outside networks or hotels. My job uses Cisco wireless access point that do B/G, I connect but never get an IP, though all my co-workers who have Dells get on just fine.
