Okay firstly, let me start with the configs or my macbook
1) Macbook - Mid-2009 model, 4 GB Ram, 500 GB Hard Drive (WD Brand New, compatible).
2) Recently, everything was running perfect, all of a sudden, BEACH BALL OF DEATH. i hard booted after 2 hours or beach ball. Macbook is stuck at apple logo with spinning gear for 1 hour. Asks me to repair disk, HDD was faulty, so i bought a new HDD, i had all backups before so no problem with that.

1) I tried installing Mountain Lion from USB on NEW HARD DRIVE 500 GB WD, which i checked is compatible. Hangs at apple logo with spinning gear. Boots after 20 mins, cant install as it shows some problem and says try to install again.
2) Tried installing Snow Leopard (Original Disk with Macbook), boots after 30 minutes, can't install again, due to some weird problem.
3) Tried to install from Mountain Lion DVD, again, boots after 30 minutes, again can't install OS X.
4) Tried to format hard disk with GUID, et al, no configuration allows to install as all install abruptly shut after 20-30 mins.
5) Cleared NVRAM, PRAM, SMC reset, Hard Disk taken out, RAM Chips taken out, slots changed etc. Still booting takes 20-30 mins from USB/DVD/CD/ORIGINAL DVD etc.
6) Checked AHT from original applications DVD, it says no problem with the Hardware.
7) Checked New Hard Disk, no problem there too.
8) USB Recovery Assitant Mountain Lion, doesn't boot as well for 20-30 minutes.
9) Whichever way it boots, it takes 20-30 mins to boot, it restores from Time Machine, after restoration, again Hanging at Apple Logo with spinning gear for 1 hour.
10) Clean install doesn't install at all and always there is some problem or the other.
11) Single User mode logs in,
12) Verbose Mode logs in, takes forever to start.
13) Whichever way it boot after 30 minutes, i can see a stationary BEACH BALL (not spinning anymore), stuck at the top left of screen, mouse doesnt move it. After 5 minutes, it starts moving but still stationary, only after 10 minutes more, i can actually click on recovery options like Restore from Time Machine, Disk Utility et al.
14) Whenever my macbook starts, there is NO CHIME whatsoever.
Now, you might think, my Macbook is TOAST, this is where i flip out of UBUNTU 12.04.02 LTS Install CD, Put in the drive, boot from it, it installed Ubuntu FLAWLESSLY, updated, FLAWLESSLY. I can hold option key at startup, where it shows as partition, i can use Ubuntu with no issues whatsoever, Hard Disk has Zero Bad Sectors (its brand new).
Another weird thing is , the same Mountain Lion USB / Retail DVD / Recovery Assitant USB , boots in my Macbook Pro within 1 minute.
I have read countless forum threads, such a problem has rarely been mentioned in such detail. and truly, i havnt found an answer to my problem, my freaking Macbook just won't install any OS (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion) from any possible USBs , DVDs, Original Retail disk which shipped with the macbook. Nothing. I just can't find what the hell is the problem, i have tried everything which is in the book.
