MacBook Non-stop Noise

My early '08 MB runs loud. It would appear the fan (if one exists) is constantly running. Any suggestions?

Yes it does have a fan - download iStatPro or SMC fancontrol and tell us what the CPU temperatures and fan speeds are.

It should not run at full speed all the time unless something is hogging the cpu.

Open up Activity Monitor and see if anything is hogging the CPU.

Restart.

Download SMCfancontrol.
