So as per normal, my late 2013/early 2014 macbook air, has decided it doesn't want to boot, the week of loads of assignments.

When i hit the power button, the chime sound happens. And i get a dark screen , like only the screen backlight is on, and thats it... nothing happens.

I've reset the PRAM , SMC , tried to boot a USB, Internet Recovery and Apple Dianogstics.... and nothing...

Any ideas?

I sounds like you have a more serious hardware issue than we will be able to help you out with here. Even is the drive failed, you would see at least a great screen with an error message. I think you will need to take this to Apple for repair.

Really not impressed, i rely on my Macs all day for working (Audio Engineer) , and in the past couple years, i've had two (now three) total laptop fails needing Logic Boards.
