Okay so my MB battery dies on me... i get my charger and plug it in - it doesnt charge and the mag safe connector doesnt light up green or red!

The LED battery indicator flashes when i press it.

Anyone know what it could be! BTW my macbook is late 2008 uni body.

All my work for college is on this and i cant do without it i think im going to have to go and buy a new one tomrrow and plug my hard drive in it (extreme but seriously cant do without it ATM).

Any help would be appricated with what it could be or if its a common problem ect. thanks guys

My macbook is on it's 3rd charger, all exchanged in the last 9 months. These mag safe connectors are fragile. My laptop is sitting on the desk, I rarely use it as a true mobile computer.

Try charging it with a different charger. If that doesn't charge it, then it's most likely the MagSafe port on the MacBook that might need to be replaced.

+1
try 2-3 different chargers and if it still doesn't charge then its time for an apple store visit!
good luck!
