Just the other day my computer died on it (from lack of battery power). After I charged it and turned it on, it has been acting off. The one thing that bothers me the most is that it will not connect to my preferred network. I have gone it and got rid of it completely and added it new as a preferred network and it still won't connect automatically.

What MacBook do you have and what version of OSX are you running?

Also what are you using for your network base station. Airport or Airport Extreme?

Has anything changed in your use, such as location where you are using your MacBook? are you maybe farther away from the base station or maybe in another room?

Have you taken your Mac somewhere that you've used it before on a wifi network to check that it responds correctly. Your local library, or Starbucks or even a "Micky D's"?

Have you verified that your network order is correct?

And is it not connecting to any networks, or is it just not connecting automatically?
