Seeing as i'm going to be getting it on finance (either £30 or £40 a month) i'd probably set a budget of no more than £2000.
However, i'm torn between the MacBook 2.4GHz and the MacBook Pro (15 inch) 2.66GHz.
Graphics aren't really an issue as I have an iMac as my main machine for games etc.
I mainly use my Mac for all the obvious things (internet, email, word processing) but I also do alot of photo, video and music editing / mixing.
The MacBook could easily manage internet, email and the odd Word document but can it handle all the photos, videos and music editing?
On either machine i'll need 4GB Ram and a 320GB hard drive, RPM is not an issue and neither is portability, that said, the 17inch MBP is out of the question entirely.
Aperture 2 and Logic 8 will also be pre installed so that adds about £300.

I have them on my iMac anyway, I was thinking for when i'm on the road, e.g. on a trip or gigging etc.
