Macbook OSX5.5 does not recognize USB ports

I have tried plugging in the devices into other computers and the devices all work. System Profiler doesn't think they are plugged in when they are. Scary! This happened suddenly yesterday. I did a repair through disk utility, still no luck. Anyone have any advice?

If I were you I'd take it to my local Apple Store (if you have one) to have the Genius Bar check it out. If you don't have an Apple Store near you hopefully you're within your 1 year warranty or you have AppleCare.
