Macbook / PAL DVDs

Hello all!

A quick question:

I want to play a PAL DVD on my Blu Ray Player but it won't play because it is set for NTSC (Region 1).

My Macbook plays all regions. What would I need to hook up the Mac Book to connect to the TV so that I play the DVD off of the Macbook and have it project onto the TV.

My TV has an HDMI input.

Which year and model MacBook do you have?

What MacBook do you have? What video output does it have?

Some Blu-Ray/DVD players also allow region changing so maybe you should take a look at that.

It's from 2009.....

Video output is mini display port....

You will need something like this http://store.apple.com/uk/product/TX175ZM/A and then purchase a HDMI cable.

However, as HellHammer says it may be easier and cheaper to see if you Blu-Ray player has the option.
