Im having a really big issue with my mac as it is using all my space. A while ago I tried to partition my macbook 1,1 so i can use bootcamp to put windows xp on another partition. Halfway through partitioning my mac shut off. Now it only lets me make partitions 22gb big. I've got pictures of this too.
The biggest file on the mac is 9.4gb big, but 80gb has been used?
I dont have any mac cds, but I do have 2 8gb usbs and a external hdd. Could I use CarbonCopyCleaner or whatever its called to copy mac to this hdd?

I think that's your best option at this point. Just use the free trial version of CCC to clone the internal to the external, then option key boot to the external and look around to make sure all your data is there. Then use Disk Util to completely erase the entire internal disk and clone back.

Afterwards, you might try a Disk Utility verify disk off the internal just to make sure the errors are gone.

You can fix this without reinstalling your system. Just boot off of a Mac OS X installation disk, go to Disk Utility, and repair your disk. It will fix that invalid free block count, and then your space will be back.
