or any powerful program? As i think about it, not sure how well the processor will hold heavy programs. it was specially built so it wont have to use a fan. Does it get hot? I feel like it be better with light use like Microsoft word or surfing the web. Thinking i will wait to the next model so they can fix the flaws people are having now since its brand new hardware.
 
It won't get hot, but it will throttle performance if it's stressed to much.

If this is your only computer or your main machine and you want to run heavy programs, then don't get it. Get a 13 inch MacBook Pro.

Next year's model will not be a huge jump in performance most likely. It still won't be as good as the Pro for heavy programs.
