Okay so I have noticed that when I am displaying a black or dark image on my MacBook I can see some weird marks. They look like little white patches and they are in the center of the screen. I don't know what could of caused this because I have never damaged the MacBook, I never close the lid rough and I never have things between the keyboard and screen when the lid is closed.

I really need a way (if possible) to remove these marks without getting the display replaced. I have seen some applications on the web that flash different colours and that can fix it but I doubt it will work...

Thanks,

Callum

From the picture they look like pressure marks, which occur when higher than normal pressure is applied to the LCD panel.

As odd as it sounds I've had some luck "massaging" similar marks out by gently applying pressure in a swirling motion in the affected area. Emphasis on the word some though, whenever it helped I was always surprised.
