Macbook plastic multitouch pad?

Does the touchpad in the macbook plastic is multi touch? I was under the impresion that it is, however someone asked me and I really did not know.

It's not labeled as such, no. It only detects two finger scrolling. Since it is unable to support individual movements, I am assuming that it only detects the size of what it believes is one input.

Technically, it can support multiple inputs, but the software/drivers won't allow it to from what I've read around.

It only supports two finger click/scrolling as of now/the coming future it seems.
