Heya,

just picked up a new model Macbook Pro and was wondering if my "old" White Macbook 2.2GHz C2D power adapter was ok to use with the new MBP (and vice versa).

Don't want to short anything out!

Cheers,
Muds

No. The Pro requires an 85watt power adapter.

it will work, there will be am increased charge time though..

It will NOT work if he draws more then 65W. I wouldn't charge and use the machine without its actual power supply. If it were acceptable to use the Macbook adapter, apple would not have produced the 85W version.

Don't risk a fire or destroying your adapter.
