Hi,

We have a Core 2 Duo MacBook and a new MacBook Pro (15", 2.4GHZ) in our office. Simple question, can I interchange the power adaptors on the two machines? Will there be any adverse effect on long term Battery life?

Thanks,
Ben

Macbook adapter can run the MBPro but not charge its battery. the MBPro adapter can probably power and charge the Macbook.

Actually, the MB power adapter will charge and power the MBP at the same time although it will charge slower. If you are really stressing out the machine I would guess that the charge rate would be pretty slow. I actually use a MBA adapter with my MBP. It runs and charges the MBP with no issues.
