Macbook power button won't work

Hey guys,

I recently had to replace my mag-safe power outlet hardware and as well as my fan... I followed the tutorials to do so on ifixit.com I replaced everything and also put new thermal paste on my heatsink...

I plug it into the power and the green light goes on, but when I go to turn it on nothing happens at all...

I'm thinking I could have broke something when i was installing the hardware do any of you guys know what I could have possibly done?

Open it back up and check all the connections as you could have missed one.

Thanks for the response, I found a loose connection and it turns on but the screen stays black and about every three seconds it makes a beeping sound and the power light blinks everytime it makes that sound do you know what that may be?
