I decided to wipe my drive and install a fresh version of Mojave. I created my usb installed and went to format my HDD but while it is partitioning it shuts off every time. I tried adding a volume and changing the scheme and format but it keeps shutting down. I had no problems what so ever with High Sierra so it’s not the drive that died. When I run first aid on container disk1 I get the following error...
Warning: total_segments reached
Warning: object (oid (02)) being reaped: unable to mark object range (0x2 + 256) allocated for space verification
At the end of first aid it says the drive is Ok.
Does anyone have any ideas? I even tried formatting through terminal with no luck.
