MacBook Pro 13 2011 and Motion

Cn anyone tell me how Motion performs on the 2011 MacBook pro. I am having a hard time deciding between the 13 inch and the 15 inch pro but I am leaning towards the 13 as it is cheaper. I don't expect top notch performance but I would just like to know if it is able to run Motion to an extent.

I can't speak for the 2011 13 inch model, but my 2009 13 inch machine runs Motion fairly well - especially since I upgraded to 8GB of RAM. Now, I'm not getting super in depth with Motion, and renders take some time. But for me, it is doable.

So I would assume the 2011 13 inch wouldn't have much trouble running it. However, Motion would benefit big time from a dedicated graphics card and your eyes would thank you using a bigger screen. I'd seriously consider the 15 inch
