Been looking around the internet today, and I'm curious if anyone has found any additional information on the two different processor options in today's MacBook Pro 13".
According to wikipedia, the only possibilities I see are as follows:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Bridge
Core i5 2410M - 2.3 GHz - Turbo: 2.9/2.6 GHz - Graphics: 650 MHz - Turbo Graphics: 1100 MHz - Cache: 3 MB
and
Core i7 2620M - 2.7 GHz - Turbo: 3.4/3.2 GHz - Graphics: 650 MHz - Turbo Graphics: 1300 MHz - Cache: 4 MB
If these are indeed the correct models being used, is it plausible to say that the i7 not only has the slightly higher clock speed, but a slightly faster graphics chip when the Intel Turbo Boost is being used?
A second, related question is, does OS X make use of the Intel Turbo Boost functionality?
Thanks everyone in advance.
