I have just installed game Amnesia on may new Macbook Pro 13" i5 but I am disapointed. Its playable on low settingh while on my 4 year old iMac(2.4GHz C2D, 3GB RAM, ATI RadeonHD2600 (256mb ram) it can on high. I know Macbook Pro 13" isnt gaming machine but still I wouldnt expect to be so much worse. WHY?

But overall its 10x faster than my iMac.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

unfortunately, you bought wrong notebook. especially, new macbook pro 13inch is even bad than previous one for gaming. it doesn't have dedicated graphic card. previous one has shared NVIDIA 320M (256MB) which still could hold some quality. new one has only Intel HD 3000. this card is not for gaming. you know it. no matter what it is, desktop shows better performance than notebook anyway. see for yourself how bad Intel HD 3000 is. google it (bench mark). if I were you, I won't buy that stupid macbook pro 13inch with that price. I would buy gaming laptop with that money. design is not matter. macbook pro is still way more expensive, and doesn't show high performance as well comparing to PC laptop. for the record, today games are not supporting Intel integrated chip. oh, just remember. gaming is more for GPU rather than CPU. core i5 doesn't really affect on gaming performance.

Well i didnt bought it for games so its ok, i was just a little surprised, and wanted to know if this is true:) thanks for reply.
