Hey guys
So I have this MBP 13" (2015) 8/128
I've had it since 2016, runs flawlessly, never dropped or damaged.
However, I have realized that the fan gets aggressive very soon when I do something even slightly extensive, such as using Grammarly.com or have a few tabs open, nothing else on the side.
I believe this started happening ever since I upgraded from Mojave, I'm not 100% sure it wasn't Sierra that worked fine before the issue.
I have been getting random system freezes, I have to force reboot my PC to get out of that mess.
Fan gets really loud, and I can feel the vent passing hot air.
I'm not sure if its relevant but my wifi also keeps disconnecting when the laptop gets a little busy (mostly using Grammarly or other websites that seem taxing on my laptop). Can anybody help me with this? or has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

What third party software do you have installed?(could be something is running in the background using up resources), do you have MS Office installed?

I do have BG apps, such as evernote, google sync, Gmail client. However, one thing I forgot to mention, there is a process titled CUH that keeps becoming irresponsive according to Cleanmymac app.

You have a whole lot of isolating to do. Does it happen in New User, does it happen in Safe Mode, does it happen with only XY 3rd party apps but not Z, etc etc. Even then you might come up with no plausible 3rd party culprit, which would suggest a problem in CPU or GPU, but not prove it.

It's easier to go the brute force route of (first backing everything up) reinstall OS no-erase or clean OS reinstall and throw in SMC and P/NVRAM resets, set up a new user, and see if that fixes it. Maybe you already have, but you did not mention it. Then if the problem returns later, that suggests 3rd party app, and at that point dive back into isolating...

Or, just take it to a local repair shop. One that can do logic board repairs, even if that's not what you end up needing. That's what they're here for.

Also, I'm not sure I'd be quite happy with Go's memory footprint. With only 8GB you probably need to pare some things. But that wouldn't cause sudden heat spikes.

You can try one more thing, uninstall cleanmymac completely and see if it helps. i have read lots of threads on apple forum where people have similar complains of high CPU usage due to cleanmymac app.
