I got the latest MacBook Pro 13 and just got an LG monitor. I tried restarting, reapplying cables and for some reason the display on my lg monitor stays blank. I see the MacBook detects it though.

i have windows on boot camp and I went into it and the display works fine there. Any tips?

What's the connection you're using? When you say it's detecting it, are you seeing in the Display Settings?

Using usbc to hdmi adapter (Anker brand)

4K adapter if that matters.

And yes I can see the arrangement tab and settings to mirror when plugged in

Just solved issue. My monitor supports 144hz, I changed the settings to 120hz and that solved the issue.
